H05V-R balances shape retention and easier routing for protected fixed wiring in panels, appliances and conduit.
H05V-R uses a Class 2 stranded copper conductor to handle moderate bends more easily than solid H05V-U during equipment and enclosure wiring. It is useful where the route needs some forming around internal components but does not require the very fine strands of H05V-K. The benefit is easier installation while retaining a fixed-wiring construction.
The coarser Class 2 strands are easier to keep together during stripping and terminal preparation than a fine Class 5 bundle. With terminals suitable for stranded conductors, H05V-R gives installers a stable conductor end and predictable clamping for permanent connections. This is valuable where moderate flexibility is needed without adding unnecessary termination complexity.
A stranded conductor can look flexible without being intended for repeated movement. H05V-R is designed for permanent fixed wiring, so it suits circuits that are formed during installation and then remain stationary. Where the cable will move repeatedly in service, a purpose-designed flexible cable should be selected instead. This distinction helps prevent the wrong conductor class being used for the duty.
Designed for Electrical equipment, Control enclosures, Protected fixed circuits and Cabinet assemblies.

Yes. Send the exact cable designation and, where possible, the existing datasheet or project specification. We compare conductor material, construction, voltage rating, standards and the requirements that affect the installation before confirming whether an equivalent can be offered.
Send the exact requirement. The website does not represent every possible production combination. We will check whether the construction can be supplied and whether the required standards or certification scope also cover that version before it is quoted.
No single MOQ applies across the entire range. The practical quantity depends on the cable type, size, construction, packing and production conditions. Send the actual cable list and quantities and we can confirm the applicable requirement for those items.
