Product Highlights

Dedicated PE Identification

The green/yellow H07V-K construction gives protective-earth and equipotential-bonding circuits a clear, standardised identification from the earth bar to the equipment connection point. Keeping this version separate from general-purpose H07V-K makes the grounding function obvious in product selection, site documentation and maintenance.

Flexible Grounding Routes

A Class 5 copper conductor is easier to route through short bends between earth bars, frames, cabinets and equipment than a solid or coarse-stranded conductor. This is useful in PV and ESS equipment where grounding links are short, connection points are offset and the conductor must reach the terminal without placing unnecessary mechanical stress on it.

Grounding-Termination Ready

Fine-stranded H07V-K should be terminated with ferrules, lugs or terminals suitable for Class 5 copper. Matching the conductor size and terminal system keeps the strand bundle fully captured and gives repeated PE and bonding connections a consistent interface at earth bars, enclosures and equipment frames.

Application Areas

Designed for PV equipment grounding, Protective-earth connections, Equipotential bonding and ESS cabinet and frame grounding.

Compatible with earthing bars and ground terminals in PV combiner boxes

Suitable for connection to solar panel frame earth points

Used in conjunction with PV inverter earth grounding points

Can integrate into residential switchboard and distribution earth networks

Can you check an equivalent cable from another manufacturer?

Yes. Send the exact cable designation and, where possible, the existing datasheet or project specification. We compare conductor material, construction, voltage rating, standards and the requirements that affect the installation before confirming whether an equivalent can be offered.

What if the required size, core count or construction is not shown on the website?

Send the exact requirement. The website does not represent every possible production combination. We will check whether the construction can be supplied and whether the required standards or certification scope also cover that version before it is quoted.

Can LV and MV cables be supplied in the drum lengths shown in our cable schedule?

Requested drum lengths can be reviewed with the cable schedule. What is practical depends on cable dimensions and weight, total quantity, drum capacity and transport or site-handling limits, so the required lengths should be included with the enquiry.

Is there one MOQ for all HORNOUR cable products?

No single MOQ applies across the entire range. The practical quantity depends on the cable type, size, construction, packing and production conditions. Send the actual cable list and quantities and we can confirm the applicable requirement for those items.
