Product Highlights

Ready Grounding Links

Short equipment-bonding leads are simple electrically but repetitive to prepare on site. The H07V-K Grounding Lead combines green/yellow cable and a factory-crimped ring or OT terminal before delivery, reducing cutting, stripping and crimping work at panels, enclosures and PV equipment. The installer receives a finished link that can be routed directly to the designated earthing point.

Flexible H07V-K Base

The cable body is H07V-K with a Class 5 copper conductor, giving the lead the flexibility needed to follow short routes between earth bars, frames and enclosure bonding points. Available 4, 6 and 10 mm² sizes cover common protective-conductor duties while the green/yellow PVC insulation keeps the earthing function clearly identified.

Factory-Crimped Terminations

Crimp quality is critical on a short grounding link because the terminal becomes the main electrical interface. Factory preparation allows the conductor stripping and terminal crimp to be carried out consistently before the lead reaches the equipment. This reduces variation between installers and gives repeated cabinet or equipment assemblies a more uniform grounding connection.

Does EN 50525-2-31 for H07V-K cover the complete pre-assembled grounding lead?

No. EN 50525-2-31 applies to the H07V-K cable body. Once a terminal is crimped onto the cable, the finished grounding lead is an assembly that also depends on the terminal, crimp and finished configuration. Cable compliance should not automatically be presented as approval of the complete assembly.
