H05V-U provides a shape-retaining solid conductor for short fixed runs in panels, appliances and protected building wiring.
H05V-U is suited to short protected circuits where the conductor is formed once and remains stationary. The Class 1 solid copper core holds its shape well inside equipment, small control boxes and fixed internal wiring, making it easy to create orderly routes without the extra flexibility of a stranded conductor.
A solid conductor gives compatible screw and spring terminals a simple, repeatable contact surface with no individual strands to manage. This can speed assembly in equipment that is designed around Class 1 copper. Clean stripping and correct insertion are still important, but the conductor itself keeps termination preparation uncomplicated.
Many protected 300/500 V circuits remain stationary after installation. In these applications, paying for a finer stranded construction adds little practical value. H05V-U provides a simple fixed-wiring option for stable internal routes, while H05V-R or H05V-K can be selected where the same voltage class needs more installation flexibility.
Designed for Equipment interiors, Small control boxes, Protected enclosures and Fixed internal circuits.

Yes. Send the exact cable designation and, where possible, the existing datasheet or project specification. We compare conductor material, construction, voltage rating, standards and the requirements that affect the installation before confirming whether an equivalent can be offered.
Send the exact requirement. The website does not represent every possible production combination. We will check whether the construction can be supplied and whether the required standards or certification scope also cover that version before it is quoted.
Requested drum lengths can be reviewed with the cable schedule. What is practical depends on cable dimensions and weight, total quantity, drum capacity and transport or site-handling limits, so the required lengths should be included with the enquiry.
