NA2XH combines aluminium conductors, XLPE insulation and a halogen-free sheath for large fixed routes in occupied buildings.
NA2XH combines an aluminium conductor with XLPE insulation and a low-smoke halogen-free sheath for fixed distribution in fire-conscious environments. The key value is the ability to use aluminium in locations where smoke and corrosive gas emissions from cable materials are an important design consideration. This separates the fire-performance requirement from the purely economic choice of conductor material.
Large aluminium feeders need adequate tray space, bend room, support and termination capacity. NA2XH should therefore be considered early in the physical layout of the route rather than treated as a direct last-minute substitute for a smaller copper cable. Planning around the finished cable size helps avoid congestion at tray transitions, gland plates and distribution-equipment entries.
NA2XH-J includes a green/yellow protective conductor, while NA2XH-O does not. This lets designers match the protective-conductor arrangement to the circuit without changing cable family. For large feeders, making that choice early is especially important because core count affects overall diameter, termination hardware and the space required inside distribution equipment.
Designed for Indoor distribution, Commercial PV plants, Utility buildings and Infrastructure feeders.

Yes, this can be reviewed, but aluminium is not normally a size-for-size replacement for copper. Current, route length, voltage drop, installation method, available space and the equipment termination system all need to be checked before an alternative size is proposed.
Yes. Send the exact cable designation and, where possible, the existing datasheet or project specification. We compare conductor material, construction, voltage rating, standards and the requirements that affect the installation before confirming whether an equivalent can be offered.
Send the exact requirement. The website does not represent every possible production combination. We will check whether the construction can be supplied and whether the required standards or certification scope also cover that version before it is quoted.
